The 11th annual Festival of Iowa Beers (FoIB) will take place on Sept. 6 at Millstream Brewing Company in Amana.
Founded by Millstream owners Tom and Teresa Albert and Chris Priebe to promote Iowa beer and industry camaraderie, the FoIB debuted in 2005 with 300 attendees and eight breweries. Running from 1-5 pm on Sunday, Sept. 6, admission to the event is $20, and comes with unlimited samples and a souvenir glass.
Now organized in conjunction with the Iowa Brewers Guild, the 2015 installment of FoIB will exclusively feature beers from over 30 Iowa breweries. This year’s food offerings come from TC Bonz BBQ and Maggie’s Stone Fire Pizza, while live music will be provided by Holiday Road. Admission is capped at 1,200.
